Youth Project
The Killinarden Community Council Youth Project (KCCYP) provide a range of developmental, quality, inclusive and accessible activities and programmes as outlined below:
- An open-door, age-appropriate, drop in services available 6 days a week
- Summer projects and trips off-site
- Collaborative projects with other local Youth Work Organisations
- Outreach Work
- One to One Support
- Group Work
- Junior Leader Training
- Midterm/Easter & Summer Project
- Offsite Trips
- Safety and well-being of all young people is paramount throughout all our provision
KCCYP works with young people in the area aged 10 to 18 years of age (outside of our drop in hours we provide additional supports for 18 to 25 year olds). Our age-appropriate drop in service is broken into 4 below time categories.

KCCYP provides activities and programmes for all our young people, and additionally targets the following groups:
- Young people who do not often engage in any other service provision
- Most at risk and vulnerable young people (target groups)
- Early school leavers
- Young People who are experiencing issues in their lives both personally and socially
- Young People from New Communities/Travellers
